AMANDA COLLIVER
Amanda began her career as a songwriter and recording artist in commercials and film.

She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts Opera Studio in 1982 and began a 20 year Operatic career performing as a soloist with all the major Opera companies and Symphony Orchestras in Australia.

Amanda began teaching singing 25 years ago and has prepared theatre stars such as Hugh Jackman for Beauty and the Beast and Sunset Boulevard as well as film stars such as Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor for Moulin Rouge.

She has worked as Vocal Advisor to Musical Directors, Pop artists, actors, dancers, Speech Pathologists and Yoga teachers.

In 2001 Amanda left the operatic stage to release her own original album and relocated to Singapore in 2004 to work as the full time Vocal teacher for the Musical Theatre course at Lasalle College of the Arts.

Since being in Singapore Amanda has traveled to Russia to sing with the Symphony Orchestras of St Petersburg and Novosibirsk, been Vocal Coach on Miss Saigon in Korea, Cabaret, Forbidden City, Little Shop of Horrors, a Cabaret production for Singapore Airlines, The History of Singapore and Beauty World. She is currently working on Jaques Brel for Sing Theatre.

A performer in her own right, Amanda appeared as the ‘Opera Diva’ for the opening of Vivo City and is in demand on the Corporate circuit. She will freelance in May as both an artist and teacher.
