MARK
DAVIS
Born and educated in England, Mark migrated to Australia in 1985. With a back ground in law enforcement, he spent 4 years with Radio 3 RPH in Melbourne presenting “The Weekend Australian” news program.
Whilst at RPH, he was commissioned to present “The Feathermen” by Ranulph Finnes, which went to air over 26 episodes. He was also the voice of audio description for the weekly simulcast of Melbourne’s long running Channel 9 series “Water Rats”
In 2003, he and his family moved to Singapore where he successfully directed his own voice over company “The Tone Of Voice.” He was engaged by a wide variety of international companies such as BHP, BASF, Samsung, Fiat, the British High Commission, Raffles Hotels chain, Deutsche Bank, Johnny Walker and the Governments of Singapore, Morocco and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Productions included international radio commercials, large scale Middle East development projects, sales and corporate DVD’s. In addition, Mark was a script writer for the Discovery Channel and his voice was used in animation productions.
After five years of this extensive international exposure, Mark returned to Australia in 2008 and was commissioned to voice the release of the new Tony Park book “Silent Predator” for Bolinda Audio Books.
